Spring Release

Each spring and fall we are blessed with the opportunity to share the results of a years-long process when we release our wines. This spring is no different. After quietly resting in a cool, dark cellar for nearly 15 months, 2,772 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon begged us for a change of scenery. The critics have sided with the wine, and we tend to agree. In fact, Wine Spectator just scored the wine 93 POINTS and had this to say: "polished, generous and seductive.... This has power and grace." So, without further ado, we present our spring release: the 2007 Andreas.

Constructed and cared for under the watchful eye of Gilles Nicault, this vintage of 100% Wallula Vineyard cab shows black cherry, plum and red fruit complemented by mineral and spice. Thirty months of aging in Vicard French oak barrels helped impart the strong, yet smooth structure. Enjoy it now or place it in your own cellar where it should age nicely for at least 5-10 more years.
