Greetings from the Dundee Hills!
September is always an important month - we're either harvesting, or getting ready to harvest. This year, it looks like we'll begin bringing in fruit by the middle of October, much like the excellent 2010 vintage. So far, the vineyards are in impeccable shape, ready for the weeks ahead.
In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy our 2009 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, which has only recently been released. True to the vintage, it is a little more forward than either 2008 or 2007, and it is delicious - a wine that is delightful now but will certainly age well.

...a wine that captures the bright, crisp acidity and mineral character of the vineyard, balanced with richness and lovely length on the palate.

The 2009 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is deep and vibrant, with brilliant color and excellent clarity. Aromatically, the wine is quite open, even opulent - a mix of velvety rose petals, violets and spices. On the palate, the texture is lush and mouth-coating, but well-balanced. Together, they provide definition and intensity, followed by refined, silky tannins. The finish is quite long, with beautiful cherry notes. While the '09 will age quite well, it is delicious to drink today.
