"Deep purple-colored, it exhibits a classy bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, earth notes, violets, and black currant. Supple and layered on the palate, it displays enough underlying structure to evolve for 5-6 years. With outstanding volume and grip, it will offer a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2027."

Winemaker's Notes "After six vintages, I feel that I'm now zeroing in on a Dunn-style Washington Cabernet. It all starts in the vineyard, and my job is merely to blend different fruits to produce a world-class wine. I seek a balance of fruit, tannins, and alcohol that should reward one's patience after years of cellaring, while also appealing to those who prefer a younger wine. We’ve accomplished this with the 2008 vintage." |
