Dear Friends,

With its 98 point review from Wine Enthusiast magazine, we've had a tremendous response to our recent release of the 2008 Pirouette. There are less than 50 cases of the 750ml bottles remaining, and only a few of the magnums and half bottles still available. If you are interested in buying this "Cellar Selection", we encourage you to act now.

Through February 10th we are offering Private Cellar members complimentary shipping on all orders of 6 or more bottles of 2008 Pirouette.

2008 Pirouette
Renowned Napa Valley vintner Philippe Melka partnered with Agustin Huneeus, Sr. to craft this classic Bordeaux blend using select lots from Washington State's finest vineyards (63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot). The 2008 Pirouette delivers sweet aromas and flavors of ripe plums, mocha, licorice and spice, complemented on the palate by a rich and silky texture. The overall integration of the wine provides a fresh and pure impression of dark fruits with remarkable structure and a long-lasting finish.

Philippe Melka was named one of the top nine winemakers in the world by Robert Parker and has extensive experience in Bordeaux (Haut-Brion and Pétrus) and throughout the Napa Valley (Dominus, Bryant Family, Hundred Acre, Vineyard 29, Métisse and CJ wines).

Agustin Huneeus, Sr. began his career as CEO of Concha y Toro in Chile, before heading Seagram's worldwide operations and transforming Franciscan Estates. Today he owns Quintessa estate winery in Rutherford, California.

As always, thank you for your continued support.

Cheers,

Allen Shoup, Founder Dane Narbaitz, President

Cellar Selection

"A stunning Pirouette. Full and magnificently rich, it is loaded with dense and thrilling fruit flavors of black cherry and cassis. A streak of iron and a hint of citrus keep the wine evolving through a long, beautifully balanced finish. Retasted after being open for 24 hours, the wine was as fresh and thrilling as on the first day. Cellar Selection."

"This wine could be our most refined and complex Pirouette so far. It reveals great structure with powerful tannins providing a sense of wonderful aging ability. Each year I realize more and more the enormous potential of this exceptional wine region. This is very exciting!"
