With only 100 cases bottled and a growing demand for our wines, it won't last long. We planted a miniscule 1-acre block of merlot within our vineyard in honor of Alain Raynaud and his family of Saint-Émilion, with whom winemaker David Jeffrey apprenticed in 2003. It is Doctor Raynaud and that beautiful region of Bordeaux which inspire this classic Right Bank wine that expresses the precision of the grape variety with both a smooth, silky texture and a bright, lifting finish. We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 28 between noon and 4 pm as we host our first pickup party at the vineyard - you will see the Raynaud block in budbreak. Upon release on March 6th, you can select "Spring Pickup Party - April 28" as your shipping method during online checkout, and we will have your purchases ready when you arrive.   Join us at Vinoteca for two Barrel Tasting Weekends in early March and sample the new 2010 Calluna Vineyards Cuvée direct from the barrel along with current release 2009 CVC and the pre-release of our 2009 Calluna Estate.
