A brilliant garnet color stains the glass and expressive aromatics of plum, black cherry and Asian spice fills the nose. On the palate, it has Merlot plushness but with very bright, lifting acidity and velvety tannins that linger with flavors of kirsch, vanilla, sandalwood and black tealeaf.
