"This Poet's Leap is a pretty wine, vibrant, and full across the palate, with a mix of apple and peach flavors. Clean and balanced, it adds nuances of tea and finally a hint of honey in the extended finish."

2009 Poet's Leap Ice Wine
95 points, Connoisseurs' Guide

About Ice Wine:
Ice wine is a seldom offered gift of nature that requires a hard freeze to occur, often several months after the normal harvest. When these rare and desirable conditions occur, it results in a richly concentrated wine, high in sugar and acid, with extraordinary intensity and extended ageability. |

2010 Poet's Leap Botrytis Riesling
93 points, Wine Advocate
About Botrytis:
It is only possible to produce botrytised wines under specific conditions. Alternating periods of dampness and dryness must occur for the Noble Rot (Botrytis Cinerea) to truly take hold. The mold shrivels the grapes, concentrating the sugars, acids and flavors. From this, very little juice flows. What results is a deliciously honeyed golden nectar of unparalleled complexity that can be aged for decades.

"This is definitely the most 'German' style of all Poet's Leap vintages we've made so far. The chemistry and weather pattern during the 2011 growing season created a Riesling with great intensity of flavors that I'm looking forward to enjoying myself"
