Our newest bottling, the 2010 Robert's Vineyard Pinot Noir from our Carneros Vineyard displays a style that is unabashedly 'California.' Our 2009 Carneros Chardonnay is restrained, elegant, and delicious; displaying all the hallmarks of the cool 2009 vintage. These new releases nicely illustrate our ongoing evolution towards more aromatic and balanced wines. Winemaker Mark Lyon explains; "We're trying to distance ourselves from the overripe, overly extracted, high alcohol bottlings that have dominated the headlines over the last two decades."   One of the great things about Sonoma County is our long cool growing season. Our grapes achieve full physiological ripeness at lower sugar levels and higher natural acidities. Consequently our wines are structured to improve and gain complexity with time in the bottle. We think you might agree that there is nothing more exciting and satisfying than a well-aged bottle of Sebastiani Cab or Merlot! We hope that you'll enjoy a glass or two with us at one of our exciting events this summer. On Friday, April 27th we'll be hosting a warm-up concert to whet your appetite for the summer Friday Night Music Events. Weekly concerts begin on May 25th and run every Friday evening until the last weekend in September. These family-friendly events, complete with food available for purchase from local vendors, are a great way to enjoy the summer nights.
