Check out our new deck
At the end of June, Véronique Drouhin cut the ribbon on our new deck, a tasteful elaboration of the porch that sits just off the winery's tasting room. That morning, it was cold and gray, but as Véronique toasted the group with a glass of 2011 DDO Edition Rosé, the sun came out. And honestly, it's as if she flipped a switch because it's been sunny and spectacular virtually ever since. A very good omen!
Vineyard Update
 As for the vineyards, they couldn't be happier. We can only hope that things continue as they have. Veraison will come soon, and we expect to be harvesting by the beginning of October. Very exciting, indeed.
International Appeal
Other recent highlights include the recently concluded International Pinot Noir Celebration, which was one of the best ever. And of course, we've really enjoyed the many visitors we've been receiving from all over the world (Japan, France, England, Holland, Sweden, Vietnam, New Zealand, and beyond).
Looking Ahead...
We hope you come see us on Thursday, September 13 in San Francisco, at the Willamette Valley Wineries Association "Pinot In The City" event at the Golden Gate Club (in the Presidio).
Also, we're very happy to have been invited to participate in the 2012 Wine Spectator New World Wine Experience, October 18-20 in Los Angeles.
Visit Us
 Our tasting room will continue to stay open daily through harvest, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm, and will return to our regular Wednesday to Sunday schedule in mid-October. We would love to welcome you and your friends for a tasting soon!
