| The Doctor yelled "It's Alive" when describing our monstrously delicious Franc 'N Stern wine. Created from our freaky terroir, this is a shockingly great Cabernet Franc. Were there other transplanted parts creating the Cabernet Franc fruit from our Saunders Vineyard - perhaps the fruit of a Grand Cru Bordeaux to which it has been compared? In 20 years of existence there has never been a Cabernet Franc so beautifully sutured together, exclusively from this laboratory. In the west-facing, world-famous Oakville AVA lies the 'Boris'-like combination of soil, elevation, microclimate and exposure that together exhibit a full bodied, dark garnet, multifaceted wine. The mischievous elegance defined by lovely, intense, sweet black currant and mocha aromas lead into a fiendishly bright tannin structure.
