93 points - Wine Connoisseurs Guide to California Wine
There is no question but that the wine in ripe and fully fleshed out, but it is in every way a deep and keenly defined effort, and its combination of juicy, cherry-like fruit, velvety feel and very fine balance are all the hallmarks of good Pinot. It may not be one that we would choose to accompany more delicate dishes, but it will do stunning service with the likes of duck in sauces or a savory roasted pork tenderloin.

91 points - Wine Connoisseurs Guide to California Wine
Over the last several years, we have been favorably impressed with Rodney Strong's Reserve Chardonnays, and this latest opus, continues the winery's string of successes. It leads with a deep, well-fruited nose of juicy apples, crème brulèe and subtle notes of sweet blossoms, and it follows with like-minded flavors that show fine youthful vibrancy tied to optimal ripeness. Its firming acidity keeps it as fresh as it is rich, and there is little doubt but that it will age famously.
