2010 OFS Zinfandel

at the 2013 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Hand harvested from premium Russian River Valley vineyards, the fruit for this Zinfandel was chosen for superior quality and variety. In warmer reaches of the valley where old vines persevere, grapes ripen over an extended season to develop wonderfully complex flavors. This deep ruby colored wine showcases aromas and flavors of baked cherry pie with a hint of chocolate orange. It is a medium-bodied wine with the perfect balance of structure and acid leading to a medium-long finish.
