Re-shipments and redirected packages will incur additional costs. It is very difficult to reroute your shipment to a different address once your order is shipped so please be sure we have the correct address beforehand. If changes, redirects, etc. are made once your shipment leaves the warehouse, there is a charge of $15. 2010 High Plateau Cabernet Sauvignon The 2010 Ladera High Plateau Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of different lots from our estate vineyards on Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain. These two hillside vineyards offer differences in elevation, soil and micro-climates that when blended, result in a wine with striking aromas and intense fruit expression. Fruit from Howell Mountain still makes up the majority of this wine, hence the name High Plateau. That is precisely what Howell Mountain is; a high plateau but at 1,800 feet in elevation. This extremely small production Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone and structure while the Petit Verdot lifts the wines aromas and adds to its complexity. The wine delivers deep and expressive fruit aromas of ripe black cherries, black currants and fresh oak spice with hints of licorice and vanilla bean.
