2010 Exposure
20 Months in 66% French New Oak from coopers Ermitage, Baron, Sylvain, Nadalie. Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvested between the Sept. 30 and Oct. 40 under perfect conditions of maturity.
The 2010 Oakville East Exposure reveals deeply complex and concentrated ripe aromas of lush black fruits, cherries, violets, baker’s spices and licorice. 2010 Core Stone
• 20 Months in 62% French new Oak from coopers Ermitage, Atelier France and Baron
• 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
The Core Stone nose is very youthful with surprising but exciting tropical notes which complement the dark fruit and violet aromas. As always with Core Stone, the wine has an almost sweet entry, a velvety mid palate enveloped by beautiful fruit impressions of sweet cola, cherry, violet, dark berries, and licorice with spicy oak notes. This wine is perfectly balanced, with a long elegant fruit finish, and promises wonderful aging potential.
