Récolte, the French word for “harvest,” is a limited production, barrel fermented Chardonnay made from the finest selection of Domaine Serene estate Chardonnay. 2010 Récolte Grand Cru Chardonnay, the pinnacle of our Chardonnay program, is our tribute to the most famous white wine in the world and for us, the quintessence of Oregon Chardonnay. $125/bottle | $750 6-bottle case | Winemaker's Notes from Erik Kramer 2010 Récolte Grand Cru Chardonnay is a blend of Dijon clones from our dry-farmed estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills. This complex and intriguing wine offers notes of lemon curd, white rose, Asian pear, tangerine, snap peas and minerality. Texturally, it offers the perfect combination of firmness, richness and acidity. The complex flavors carry through on a lively palate that finishes with tremendous length and persistence. bottle

Domaine Serene Purchases Two Barns Vineyard! Domaine Serene first began purchasing fruit from the Two Barns vineyard in 2002, and for ten vintages, the Two Barns Vineyard has provided us some of the finest pinot noir in the Dundee Hills. It is an important component of our Flagship wine, Evenstad Reserve, and a significant addition to our single-vineyard Pinot Noir portfolio. Earlier this year, Ken and Grace inquired about purchasing Two Barns Vineyard, and as of mid-August, are very pleased to announce the official purchase of this special site. Nestled in the Dundee Hills in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Two Barns is planted to 35 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
