Dear %%FIRST%%, As one of a handful of special people who we count among our best friends and most loyal supporters, as a small way of expressing our thanks for your interest and encouragement over the years, we have recently send you a personal letter in the mail announcing the launch of our exclusive Long Shadows Key Club. We also wanted to follow up with an email invitation to join one of our Key Clubs if that is more convenient for you. Despite the urging of many, I have resisted such a program for years while we focused on establishing a solid foundation for decades to come. Since our founding in 2003, we have devoted ourselves to the business of making world-class wines: building and outfitting a state-of-the-art winery; acquiring an exceptional vineyard; and earning unprecedented, consistent acclaim for our wines vintage after vintage. Because our wines are frequently out-of-stock and becoming increasingly difficult to find on retail shelves due to growing demand and exceptional acclaim, I am convinced now is the time to offer our best customers a program that provides preferred pricing and exclusive privileges. In addition, over the last several harvests each winemaker has been assessing the vintage and setting aside three or four barrels as they deem worthy to craft an extremely limited wine. These wines will be reserved for Key Club members; and in fact, Feather and Sequel will be among the first of these rare bottlings to be released later this year. In addition we have created two new limited edition wines, Shoup, a unique red blend that shows off some very special Bordeaux grapes and Côté Nicault, a Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blend that builds on Gilles Nicault's French heritage and training. Both will debut this spring. Below you will find more detail about the three levels of our Key Club. These clubs are exclusive not only out of necessity (limitations of wines and events) but also out of a desire to provide extra courtesy to our best supporters. As part of the Cellar Key Club, you will receive three 6-bottle packs per year. You can choose to receive three bottles of each of our six red wines (Chester-Kidder, Feather, Pedestal, Pirouette, Saggi and Sequel) or three 6-bottle packs of any of our red wines. As part of the Vault Key Club, you will receive three 12-bottle cases per year. You can choose to receive six bottles of each of our standard red wines or six red wine 6-packs of your choice.
