Shadows of anise hover over candied blackberry and deep cocoa on the nose. Silky cherry spreads on a thick layer of cassis and mixed berry, followed by waves of currant and blackberry flooding the palate. The finish is ripples of anise and bittersweet chocolate on a pond of blue and blackberry. Hints of Cedar and Spice pounce on a “Raspcherry” nose. A soft hint of powdered cocoa leads to broad strokes of dark chocolate and mouth filling blackberry on the palate. The texture is mouth filling and supple. Silky cherry and dark fruit find a smoky, earthy, gentle touch of oak and vanilla on the finish.
