Congratulations on your status as a 2014 member of the GEMS! Your GEMS membership, which gives you complimentary annual tastings at nine other acclaimed wineries, is Ladera's way of saying thank you for being one of our top customers of 2013.
One of the fantastic things about being in California's wine country is that we are part of an inspiring community of friends and winemaking neighbors. Over the years, we've developed close friendships with some of these neighbors, and a mutual admiration for each other's wines. We wondered, "If we love these wines, why wouldn't our customers?" Thus, was born the GEMS. The GEMS enhances the benefits we are able to offer you by creating reciprocal rewards and opportunities at other renowned family-owned wineries. As the centerpiece of our GEMS program, we are happy to offer an annual complimentary tasting for you and up to three guests at each of our GEMS partner wineries (a value of about $1,600).
The big news in 2014 is that the GEMS has two new member wineries: Vineyard 29 and WALT. With the membership of WALT, and the unveiling of Patz & Hall's new Sonoma House, we have also moved beyond our original Napa Valley origins to include wineries in Sonoma. We see this as a natural evolution for the GEMS, allowing our members to explore an even more diverse range of great wines and wineries. Our 2014 lineup includes: |

As always, all GEMS tasting experiences are seated, and require advance reservations. To take advantage of these wonderful benefits, simply call the winery you wish to visit, reserve your tasting, and identify yourself with your special GEMS membership access code. (Your access code is: LDN214.) Please save this email so you can refer to your access code in the future.
If you live in or you're heading to Texas, we also have some fantastic GEMS tastings lined up this year that may fit with your schedule! So, save the date for the following GEMS tastings, where you'll be able to enjoy approximately 30 different wines, most of which are only available in very limited quantities:
