2014 began with a long dry spell here in the Willamette Valley – an echo of the way 2005 began. In fact, there were days that almost felt like rosé weather in January and February (we don’t need a lot of excuses to drink rosé). But after some deep cold, and then a lot of rain, it has finally begun to feel slightly more normal around here.
The 2013 Edition Rosé is full of snap and vigor, a fresh wine with excellent fruit and acidity. Made entirely from estate grown pinot noir, the 2013 Rosé has aromatics of freshly cut fruits such as strawberry, apricot and various citruses. The flavors remain bright on the palate, leading to a classic, vibrant finish. Climatologists have forecast a warm summer this year - nothing says “I’m ready” like a case of 2013 Edition Rosé.
Cheers,
