1,500 guests at the most famous Oscars® after-party, The Governors Ball, were greeted with a seemingly endless array of delectable small plates created by the incomparable Wolfgang Puck. Receiving as many kudos as the eagerly awaited gourmet nibbles were the elegantly displayed and beautifully poured Sterling Vineyards 2010 Reserve Chardonnay and 2008 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, designed to pair seamlessly with Puck's menu. The celebrity chef himself even stole a minute to toast his team with a glass of Cabernet. Nestled amid glowing Oscar statues, giant etched Sterling wine bottles were an elegant backdrop to the five bars positioned throughout the venue. Final review...an overwhelming Five Stars for Sterling Vineyards all around!

What Do You Want to Do Before You Die?
Before I Die is an interactive public art project that invites people to share their personal aspirations in public space. Following the devastation of hurricane Katrina, artist Candy Chang painted the side of an abandoned house in New Orleans with chalkboard paint and stenciled it with a grid of the sentence "Before I die I want to _______." Anyone walking by could pick up a piece of chalk, reflect on their lives, and share their personal aspirations in public space. Since then, over 450 Before I Die walls have been created in over 60 countries and over 30 languages by passionate people around the world. Sterling is proud to host one of these inspiring walls for guests to express their dreams throughout April!
