Dear %%FIRST%%, Over the past few years we have quietly been crafting limited quantities of special bottlings with the intention of sharing them with our most loyal Long Shadows supporters. As a valued Winery Key Club member, we are pleased to offer you our first member-exclusive release, the 2010 Côté Nicault. This week marks the 20th anniversary of winemaker Gilles Nicault’s arrival in the United States from his native France. From the time he arrived in the Columbia Valley, he dreamed of crafting a wine that reflects his Rhône heritage and upbringing. Thanks to the gravely soils and steep slopes of StoneTree Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope, he discovered a site that is perfectly suited to produce such a wine. We are pleased to offer you this inaugural release of Côté Nicault on such a special occasion. A blend of of 35% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah and 30% Grenache, this wine delivers loads of blackberry, spice, roasted meats and hints of graphite to go with a decadently rich palate that stays focused and lively across a persistent finish. We only produced 125 cases of the 2010 Côté Nicault. After releasing it to our Vault and Cellar Key Club members, we have less than 20 cases remaining. We are pleased to now offer it to our Winery Key Club members on a first come, first served basis. You may purchase your 3 bottle allocation by clicking the button below. All requests will be filled in the order they are received. We will do our best to honor each order, but cannot guarantee availability. All orders will be shipped, unless you have chosen "will call pick-up" (in Woodinville or Walla Walla) for your regular wine club allocations. Production: 125 cases Price: $75 /bottle   Later this summer, we will introduce an even more limited release – our 2007 Shoup (Bordeaux blend) – only 75 cases produced.
