Terra Valentine offers two unique solutions for those of you concerned that warm weather will affect your wine in transit.   FedEx Cold Chain Your wine travels in refrigerated trucks to your business address. This method takes about 2 weeks, as your wine stops along the way at certain FedEx hubs. Your best summer shipping solution, FedEx Cold Chain is a little more expensive than ground shipping but cheaper than 2-Day Air. Cold Packs You can opt to include cold packs in your ground shipping order! We suggest one cold pack for every 6 bottles. We still highly suggest that you ship your wine to a business address to ensure that someone is present to sign for the delivery! If it is over 85 degrees and you did NOT choose to add cold packs or upgrade to FedEx Cold Chain during checkout then we will hold your wine until we deem it is safe to ship. For Cold Packs and FedEx Cold Chain it is Terra Valentine’s policy to only ship to a business address. If you choose to ship to a home address during the summer months, Terra Valentine will not be responsible for the quality of the wine when it arrives. Again, business addresses are always the best choice, as one missed delivery could impact the quality of your wine! SHIPPING UPDATES All wine shipments must be signed for by a person over the age of 21. We highly suggest always shipping to a business address. Your ground Wine Shipment may be held due to extreme weather in your area over 85 or under 35 degrees. Please note that if your shipment cannot be delivered after the third delivery attempt, you will be responsible for a $20 fee to re-ship your order.
