Lone Tree Pinot Anniversary Magnum
As the Holiday season quickly approaches and we celebrate all that this beautiful harvest had to offer, we turn our attention to our beloved Lone Tree Vineyard. Throughout the year we have featured some outstanding wines sourced from this vineyard, including our 2010 L’historie Profonde Pinot, 2010 Lone Tree Pinot and 2010 Lone Tree Barrel Select Lone Tree Pinot in wine club selections, and we aren’t done yet! The 2013 harvest marks Acacia’s 35th anniversary, and to celebrate we will be bottling a spectacular Anniversary Magnum blended with our estate Lone Tree Pinot Noir! Acacia Estate Lone Tree Vineyard
Carneros is the coolest district of the Napa Valley due to the proximity to the San Francisco Bay, and is recognized as an outstanding region for Pinot Noir. Acacia’s 100+ acre estate Lone Tree Vineyard sits atop the hills surrounding the winery on the Napa side of Carneros. As you approach the vineyard on Duhig roar, a lone acacia tree rises out of the Pinot noir vines. This vineyard is our crown jewel of Pinot noir. Planted over the last ten years, the vineyard is divided into eight blocks, each divided into multiple sub-blocks. Planted to 11 different Pinot Noir clones, the Acacia Vineyard Estate is one of the most diverse vineyards in Carneros.
