Four teams will have one hour to create their own edible masterpieces using their mystery basket of ingredients. For the second year in a row Sterling Vineyards culminated the Ultimate Host competition in a big way in New York City. More than 220 people were in attendance at event space Location05 to sip Sterling wines and take in each finalist’s space. From Japanese Zen gardens to the liveliness of Central Park, our hosts put on a grand fete. Ultimately, Zooey Jones from Brooklyn, New York, took home the top prize and was crowned the new Sterling Ultimate Host. The judges, including spokesperson Padma Lakshmi, were drawn to Zooey’s soulful, smooth jazz space filled with live musicians, succulent red velvet cake and unique nods to some of the late great jazz musicians. Her classic, relaxing setting caught the attention of guests and judges alike and earned her the title of Ultimate Host. The atmosphere in the room was electric and our finalists put on a fantastic show. We are looking forward to getting started with Zooey!
