Introducing: Jean-Pierre, Tasting Room Extraordinaire!
Some of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting Jean-Pierre Huser during his 15 years here at Sterling. For those who have not, you are in for a treat! Jean-Pierre—or J.P. for short—is one of our resident wine experts in the tasting room, with 52 years of experience in the food & wine industry in seven countries. A native of the Alsatian capital city of Strasbourg, France, he is also an avid photographer. His photos are often featured in the Sonoma county fair and will soon be proudly displayed in the gift shop here at the winery. From J.P. and all of us here at Sterling, we look forward to seeing you during your next visit!

This beautifully balanced expression of Merlot comes from vines that struggle in rocky, volcanic soils.
