MEET HARRY HANSEN, OUR NEW WINEMAKER
Our new Senior Winemaker, Harry Hansen, grew up nearby in Sonoma County and has a deep knowledge of the local scene, learned from the ground up. The beautiful landscape that’s now labeled “wine country,” for a kid growing up in this area was simply the landscape. You know...
Our visitors often remark on the distinctive Greek-style architecture of our winery and its hill-perched setting on the hill overlooking Napa Valley. Did you know it’s modeled after the charming whitewashed hill towns of Mykonos and its craggy coast? We think that makes it the perfect setting for a Greek festival in May – and you’re invited! Join us on Sunday, May 27th.

In the Vineyard This Season
Wow, what a year it has been already. You might even call it… a season of confusion. After a couple of very cool years and growing seasons back to back, we suddenly arrived this year with a very dry, warm winter, with only occasional sprinkles and very little in the way of frost danger. Not exactly uncomfortable, but where was the rain?
Our Wine Clubs
What makes our wine clubs distinctly different? Special wine focus and excellent benefits, to start, plus your chance to choose precisely the one (or ones) that suit your own personal taste. Choose the long-time favorite Cellar Club, Platinum Club, Library Selections or the brand-new Malvasia Bianca Club – each provides automatic shipments of specially selected wines, complimentary winery visits, significant discounts and many unique benefits.

Platinum Club
Malvasia Bianca
Each of our clubs offers decidedly different wines and experiences; we encourage you to enjoy the full range of Sterling Vineyards wines by trying all three! |

Loukoumades is considered to be one of the first known dessert recipes in Europe, dating back to the Olympiad. These treats were given to the winners of the events. This version has changed little over the ages except for the Kumquat confit, which adds a complex level of citrus aroma and tart flavor. This makes it a wonderful pairing to Sterling Malvasia Bianca.
