2008 Knight’s Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Enjoy our one-and-only 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon from the beautiful Knight's Valley region! The 2008 vintage is the only Cabernet we have created from the Knight's Valley appellation. This spicy, intense wine is an excellent choice for barbequed ribs or juicy tri-tip steak.
2010 Platinum
Living up to its name, our 2010 Platinum is the culmination of our finest grapes and state-of-the-art winemaking. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, this classic Bordeaux-style blend has a big, inky-black profile led by distinct aromas of cocoa, espresso, toast and black currant. A bold weight of black-cherry fruit washes across the palate with unrelenting intensity. Mouth-coating tannins and caramel pastry notes extend into a long and satisfying finish. Pair this striking bold, well-balanced wine with roasted meats, risotto, or hearty pastas.
2008 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
In the glass, our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon shows dark, inky purple depths that bloom with brambly black fruit, blueberry pie and layers of toasted oak, nutmeg and clove. The signature Rutherford fruit shines across the mid-palate as the smooth entry develops a brooding underbelly of rich, dark, juicy fruit. Dried cherries, dark cocoa and sweet hazelnut coffee melt through the middle, joined by barrel nuances that lend tannins and structure without overpowering the fruit. This well-balanced, well-structured Cabernet Sauvignon will hold up to hardy roasted or braised meats and rich sauce dishes.
2007 Three Palms Merlot
With great structure, depth and concentration, our 2007 Three Palms Vineyard Merlot tells the story of an unusual vineyard in Napa Valley. The wine’s intense, ripe black cherry aromas and expansive flavors slowly unfold to reveal complex notes of mineral, mocha, spice, rose and toasty oak. This beautifully balanced expression of Merlot comes from vines that struggle in rocky, volcanic soils along the eastern flank of Napa Valley. Winemaker Michael Westrick attributes the wine’s distinctive mineral character and remarkable weight on the palate to the vineyard’s unique terroir. Structured with tannins that combine power with suppleness, this wine delivers luscious, complex flavors now, yet promises cellar-worthiness.
2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Decadent dark-fruit aromas open our 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Fragrant spices lift through layers of dark cherries and black cassis, developing an intense perfume of licorice, cocoa powder and black pepper when swirled. With great length and breadth, the fruit spans across the broad palate, matched by espresso, vanilla, and anise. The tannins are dense and fleshy, effortlessly supporting the rich, full body and suggesting a long life.
