Dear %%FIRST%%,Harvest is now in full swing, which gives us a chance to think about the growing season and the possibilities that await us. Also, as we release Laurène this time of year, it gives us a chance to look back three years, at the growing season that produced the wine in front of us. In this case, it’s 2011, the latest harvest on record. Our fears in September gave way to surprise and amazement in late October and early November (!), as we brought in fruit that reminded us why we love what a cool climate does for Pinot Noir. 2011 produced exceptional wine, but in small quantities, due to strict sorting and selection practice. Like 2010, we don’t expect this Laurène to be available long, so if you’re interested please visit, call or order online now. We still have a small number of large format bottles available, too.
