Trouble viewing this email? View a web version. Happy New Year! As we wrap up 2014 I cannot help but reflect on what a truly unbelievable year it was for L'Ecole! There were many exciting moments over the past year- releasing the first wine from our Estate Ferguson Vineyard, being named a Wine & Spirits Winery of the Year for the 13th consecutive time, and another spectacular harvest just to name a few. However the pinnacle came at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London when our 2011 Ferguson was named "Best Bordeaux Blend in the World." Sean Sullivan summed up the significance of the award in a recent article by saying: "That the winery received this award in London, just a short plane ride from Bordeaux did not escape anyone's attention, with Time magazine boldly writing, "Washington State wine is the new Bordeaux." Back in the 1970s, California was put on the wine map by besting their French counterparts at the Judgment of Paris. Could this be Washington's 'Judgment of London?' Stay tuned." Sean Sullivan Washington Tasting Room As you might guess, there is tremendous interest surrounding the new release of Ferguson. We are excited to share it at our February and March Pacific Northwest Wine Club events. It will be officially released at the winery April 1st. You may also reserve your bottles now for pick-up or shipment in the Spring. We also wish to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for your ongoing support of our wines. We recognize it is you, our loyal customers, who provide us the opportunity to continue crafting the very best wines possible each year. 2014 was undeniably a tremendous year at L'Ecole and we are just as excited for what lies ahead in 2015. Our treasured Frenchtown Schoolhouse building celebrates 100 years in 2015. We look forward to toasting that rich history with you on your next visit.
